Stretching
But how important is stretching really?
Stretching is not something you do just to become more agile, but it is also important for your muscles to stretch after a workout. Why? Well, if you don't you do not stretch it can unfortunately lead to injury. When you exercise, tighten your muscles again and again leaving a certain tension in the muscle fibersand that is what can cause different types of frictions on muscle attachments, etc. But by stretching helps your muscles to relax, which reduces the risk of injury. Stretching also increase blood circulation and recovery process, it also makes your muscles more flexible and prevents them from becoming stiff and short, which promotes mobility. Great huh?
It sounded perhaps a bit complicated but it really is not! Just make sure to stretch properly after exercise so you avoid damage and you get you mobile and flexible, you will not have so much muscle soreness. Flexibility and mobility make it actually a little easier for you in everyday life too if you are at least a bit more agile than a refrigerator.
When you stretch, you should consider some things. First of all which muscles you tried hard and put the most focus on. It does not help if you stretch your arms if it is legday as well .. but it says it itself.
You should also think about the technique, you make error may stretching help with the more negative effects than positive. Finally, you should also always make sure to stretch while still warm. Consider the muscle as a piece of metal, it is very difficult to bend it when cold but is much easier when it warmed up.
